Organizers of the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup have requested pre-arranged priority access to hospital care for athletes and VIPs in the host cities of Toronto and Vancouver. Kerry Bowman, a professor of bioethics at the University of Toronto, spoke to CBC about his concerns around the request.
