Hani Abu Rida, the President of the Egyptian Football Association, held a meeting with the players of the Egyptian national team in the presence of the coaching staff led by Hossam Hassan, to motivate the players ahead of the match against Ethiopia.
The Egyptian national team will face their Ethiopian counterpart at 11 PM tonight, Friday, at the Arab Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco, in the fifth round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Abu Rida emphasized to the players the importance of the three points to maintain the lead in the group and compete for qualification to the World Cup.
He added that the current generation of players includes a large group of outstanding players, a capable national coaching staff, and the best player in the world, Mohamed Salah, and everyone is expecting a lot from them in the upcoming period.
